This rain falls endless like a torrent from the skies
Unquenchable is the flaming ground on which it falls
Millennia of burning fires and blindfold worship
Pain that scars the landscapes as far as my eye can see
Hard to conceive that one day all this will be pure

Thought pattern heartbeat running fast like mine
United is the sound now and it draws near and nearer
Undeniable can you see it coming gathering pace
Who is this and are we to know or just observe
As this one sweeps the skies and ever does reign

Shoots of new life breaking through a tortured night
Restores a place of life like water in this desert
No mirage on the horizon real is the river that flows
Emotions run high is it all a dream of satisfaction
A hope on which to run the race to ruin with a smile

The hunger satisfied and eager for more yet more
On eagles wings to ever fly and ride the clouds away
Jesus and his crowds in the jubilance of today
