04 Comfort don't see blindman's dreams

We all have a faith a life long pilgrimage
From all the places we later wish we'd never been
To the faces we thought we'd seen

Walking along this golden road in the sky
Thinking silent aloud 'One day, all this will be mine'
Never knowing what made your face to shine

Pretty face, bright blue eyes and more hid within
Pure as sin, ignorant sleeping and still wide, wide awake
Carried for hours, endless hours, never to forsake

Who were you then and how did today ever come
When you lived in tomorrow on the line gliding through strangely impure .
Daily misunderstood not knowing yet sure

Crazy sights from those deep fallen eyes
Broke comfort and lies of the blindmans false dreams
Did they ever see you, is it ever what it seems

With a future unknown you chased after nothing
Craving that which today now appears obscene
Longing to find that place where you'd be clean

And now you stand there with them as you always have
Worshipping him as if your live on him did depend
No longer twisted mentality now beginning to comprehend
