05 Shallow

Some days I just want to be shallow
To wade in the water and not have it ride above my ankles
Maybe see where I’m going and not cast so many shadows

Some days I just want to be shallow
Make life seem a little easier that always fighting the tide
Letting myself go down the way that everybody is going

I never said that would be a good idea…
I never said I’d do it but some days I wonder…
